Olympo Tower Apartment by Fabiana Zeferino

In this interview, interior designer Fabiana Zeferino shares the inspiration behind the Olympo Tower Apartment. Check it out!

I am Fabiana Zeferino, I am 48 years old, and I am an interior designer, mother, and entrepreneur. My first degree was in Tourism and Hospitality, but my great passion has always been interior architecture.

I have always loved traveling and observing architecture around the world. My first course was in 2004 at the Centro de Artes e Design school in Florianópolis (Pillar). I fell in love with the history of furniture, architecture, and interior design, and I have never stopped being involved with everything connected to this universe, such as interior design, architecture, fashion, and so much more.

Today, I have a degree in Interior Design. I am grateful to all those who have encouraged me throughout my journey: God, my family, my friend Claudia Matte, and my friend Flávio. I have no doubt that I made the right choice. I am very happy and fulfilled with my work.

Conceiving and bringing innovative spaces and unique environments to life is a challenge with every project. I always strive to do my best to help build someone's dream—whether it is a home, office, store, or any other type of space.

What was your inspiration for this project?
I used nature as a source of inspiration for the design, creating comfortable and healthy spaces.

My goal was always to achieve visual balance through natural elements, as well as harmony between colors and shapes.

What was your experience like working with Inusittá on this project?
Working with Inusittá was fantastic—from the service at the store all the way through to the final installation.

What does architecture mean to you?
“Architecture is petrified music.”
This phrase by the German writer Goethe (1749–1832) summarizes one of the fundamental purposes of architecture: to create art, but a different kind of art, in which bricks and cement become the raw materials.

Through architecture, you design dreams and desires, bringing your inner self into the external world.
